The Course commenced in 2000. It was opened by the then Miss Great Britain Universe, Louise Larkin. Previously the Course owner operated the land as a private airfield and today, visiting helicopters are welcome, by prior arrangement. Hedsor Golf Club was invited to be formed in 2002 by Hedsor Golf Course Ltd, (The Course) who own and manage the course.  Hedsor Golf Club (The Club)  use the premises and facilities; and run their own competitions; social events and the members’ WHS handicaps.
