When we completed the January Medal we had frozen ground and then conditions yoyo’d from wet to frozen until the 18th January and from then on the course conditions became wetter, necessitating resticted playing, closure and more recently carrying only.

As a consequence of the course closures the February Medal was eventually cancelled.

The good new is the course has, in the last few weeks, with the excellent ground staff assistance, been steadily draining and drying out. Buggies have been permitted for the first time last week and as a consequence The March Medal was able to play on the planned day.

Our winner this month was Andrew Fairclough Gross 95 Nett 67

Competition was completed using White Tees with somewhat wet ground conditions.
